Thought turner

When you can't leave yourself a note, how do you keep from forgetting?

When an idea for a poem strikes you in the bath, when a flash of insight catches you mid-meal—

I replay it on repeat inside my mindto keep it from slipping out of consciousness, the way a concrete mixer truck keeps turning its drumso the concrete inside won't harden.
