The luckiest path
Protons and neutrons have nearly the same mass,but neutrons are slightly heavier.
If they were exactly equal,hydrogen would be scarce,nuclear fusion would change,and radioactive decay would shift.
This would make life on Earth far less likely.
We are incredibly lucky.In other, less fortunate timelines,they would probably envy us.
