Dream on a snowy night

I built a palace of snow,a structure of frozen grandeur.I slept in the highest tower.

Until the dawn brought the thaw.The stairs vanished into water,leaving me stranded in the heights.I could not descend.

Hours passed, and the palace collapsed,melting into the earth,freeing me to step upon the ground.
