What I thought about when I saw the water level rise as I got into the bath

The reason a sunken ship remains submergedis that its specific gravity is greater than water's.

Instead of the ship floating,the water is pushed upward.

If that is the case,if every single sunken ship were raised,the sea level would surely drop,at least a little bit.

The current water level is inflatedby the volume of everything within the sea--substances and living creatures alike.

I'm getting dizzy from the heat,so it's about time to get out.
